West african ministers want private sector involved in EPA negociations with european union

West African ministers responsible for the negotiation of the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) with the European Union for a free trade area of the two regions on Friday, 7th May 2010, directed that the region’s private sector be integrated forcefully into the negotiating process since it will bear the brunt of the regional Common External Tariff (CET) that will accompany the agreement.
