The High Level Panel of Experts on Food Security and Nutrition (HLPE-FSN) is pleased to announce that the hybrid event for the launch of its 18th report on “Reducing inequalities for food security and nutrition” will take place on Thursday 15 June 2023, at FAO headquarters (Green room), in Rome, Italy, at 14.00 CEST.
The event will be chaired by Amb. Gabriel Ferrero de Loma Osorio, Chairperson of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS); the report will be introduced and presented by Bernard Lehmann, Chairperson of the HLPE-FSN, and Bhavani Shankar, HLPE-FSN drafting team leader. Ismahane Elouafi, Chief Scientist of the Food and Agriculture Organization, will also deliver a thought-provoking address.
Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in the room in the 6 official languages of the United Nations.
