This conference aims to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, experiences and innovations on improving agricultural productivity and increasing food security in Africa to: (i) showcase research results showing the trend, determinants, constraints, and opportunities for improving agricultural productivity in Africa within the framework of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Program (CAADP), and other frameworks and initiatives; and (ii) identify areas for policy actions, further research, and innovations towards enhancing food security, and reducing rural poverty in the continent.
