The Virtual Transfer Technology Centres (vTTCs) serve as a virtual platform to foster the transfer of innovative know-how and experiences in the field of rainwater harvesting and irrigation and sustainable agricultural management in the rural dryland areas of sub-Saharan Africa. The goal of the AFRHINET virtual Research and Technology Transfer Centres is to contribute to achieving a greater market-, institution- and community- oriented use of innovative research and know-how in sub-Saharan Africa.
