This issue of Grain de sel seeks to dispel a number of preconceptions and reaffirm a number of truths. To mention just a few : Africa is not a reserve of land without rights ; some forms of appropriation and exploitation are in no way agricultural investments ; delivering private land titles to all peasant farmers is not necessarily a solution to secure their access to land ; conducting land reforms does not only mean working on technical and legal tools, it requires, first and foremost, holding discussions with all segments of society, etc.
