In a new interactive map, aid, development and transparency information is shown for all European countries that are part of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s development assistance committee, including Slovenia, its newest member, which joined in December 2013.
The map shows donor governments’ priority areas and countries in 2012, and shows how much official development assistance (ODA) they spent as a proportion of their gross national income. These statistics were taken from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development website. It also shows donors’ transparency performance, based on how donors score in Publish What You Fund’s aid transparency index, and whether they have signed up and published to the International Aid Transparency Initiative.
