The meeting, with a special focus on the EU biofuels policy in relation to land grabbing in Africa, has the objective to contribute to ensuring Policy Coherence for Development, taking the EU’s food security objectives and human rights commitments as the reference point.
It will provide an opportunity for European authorities to interact with those groups in Africa who are most affected by the policies in question. The meeting will launch the EuropAfrica 2011 report.
