Economic Partnership Agreements : Presentation, analyses, viewpoints

Soon available on the Inter-réseaux website, the English version of a 40 pages special issue on EPAs. The publication (in French and English) aims at providing the reader with a comprehensive although concise overview of the EPAs, analysed in four sections: i) history and objectives; ii) principles and context; iii) possible impact; iv) alternatives. A fifth section of 8 pages is added to the magazine’s traditional format, in order to address the views of FOs’ from East, Southern, West and Central Africa, the Caribbean and Pacific. ROPPA co-edited this section, which develops around three main themes: i) specific context; ii) status of negotiation; iii) FOs’ position. The target audience for this publication includes not only trade experts but also Farmers’ Organisations (FOs) and other key actors linked to the rural world.
