Chinese farmers who have been implementing Bt-cotton already 7 years ago, now suffer from different so-called secondary pests, that do not mind the Bt-toxin. Thus the farmers have to spray again and suffer from the economic loss, because the seeds are more expensive. The problem already occurred in US cotton production, but not yet that much, that it really endangered the farmers. The case was presented end of July in an American conference. Here is a short article about it, that is given the basic info, although it is looking for wrong solutions.
